A Quiet Place to Put Yourself First
Vaishalya Wellness is a residential rehabilitation center in the hills above Palampur, in the Kangra valley. We were built for the people this region keeps overlooking, the ones who reach care years late, after everything has been tried quietly at home. Real treatment for addiction and mental health has been scarce here, often priced out of reach, and buried under stigma, so the burden falls on the family. We exist to change that.

The People Who Arrive Last, and Hurt Longest
I am a counseling psychologist, trained in psychology with study in anxiety, mood disorders and addictive behavior. What shaped this place was simpler than any qualification. Years inside de-addiction and rehabilitation settings, watching who got help quickly and who did not.
Some people are brought in by their families within weeks. Others arrive after years, after everything has been tried at home, usually with someone asking that the stay be kept quiet. By the time they reach me, many have stopped believing they are allowed to need help at all. Vaishalya Wellness is for them. A private residential space in the hills, with real clinical staff, a structured day, and a door that opens onto care rather than judgment.
What We Are Working Toward
Our Vision
A Himachal where no one has to leave the state, or their family name behind, to get well.
We want residential care for addiction and mental health to be ordinary here. Present in the district, within reach, and spoken about without shame.
Our Mission
To run one residential center properly and prove that it can be done anywhere.
Care that a person can afford, reach, and walk into without apology, on one plan built around them.
The Asha Bhupender Charitable Trust
Vaishalya Wellness is run by the Asha Bhupender Charitable Trust, a registered organization working in mental health and community welfare across Himachal. Through the Trust, we carry counseling into villages that will never come looking for it, and help subsidize care for families who cannot pay. The center and the Trust share one aim: to make getting well a normal step a family can take early, without shame.
